Earlier this year, Christine had me photograph her son RJ’s 1st Communion photos. When it was time for RJ’s little sister, Claire, to have her 2nd birthday photo shoot, Christine contacted me again.

We headed to Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park for the birthday photos. Claire had a Minion themed birthday and brought along her stuffed Minions as well as a custom Minion dress that mom had made for her. Now, for what we all thought was the hard part, getting Claire to smile. It didn’t take long, within a few minutes of her getting acquainted with me, her brother doing silly things behind me and my dog calls that happened to be in my camera bag – we got those smiles going! There were so many great faces and smiles that Claire flashed. I was able to capture the many aspects of her little personality.

The kids had a great time although their energy never stopped. By the end of our photo shoot, RJ and Claire were rolling down the hills in the park! If I could borrow just a little bit of their spunk, I’d be set!

I love working with Christine and her kids and can’t wait for the next time I can photograph them!
