I always have a blast photographing these two gals. It does not hurt that they are family and we can be super silly during our sessions. When I was photographing Sydney and Madison at the Boardman studio the other weekend, I wondered what happened to those two little girls I went on vacation with a few years ago.

We mixed it up with different props and backdrops for both of their photos. At one point, I had almost every chair/bench/stool that I own, surrounding the shooting area, as I kept pulling out more things for the girls to pose on.

Sydney *looks* like a high school senior at the ripe old age of 14. She is more like 14 — going on 25. Last time I photographed the girls, Sydney still had braces on. This time around she has perfect teeth and was ready to show them off. Syd rocked out her photos like a pro even with her 10-year-old sister crawling around on the floor, making strange noises. Believe me, these two are a handful together!

Madison fell in love with my pink backdrop – she wanted to know if she could find it as wallpaper for her bedroom! Add the super soft white rug and she was ready to move into the studio! Always ready to strike a pose, this child may be watching too much America’s Top Model. She was working the room like she was on a professional photo shoot. Madison also informed me that I need to pick my favorite image of her from the session and blow it up life size to hang in the studio. She also informed me that she is one good looking girl. Needless to say there are zero self-confidence issues with this little one!
