It is fantastic to be shooting so many Senior pictures lately! Sophia is my most recent Class of 2015 Senior from Canfield High School. When Sophia and her mom came in for their consult, we realized that I graduated high school with her second cousins! It is such a small world in Youngstown and I love finding out connections between clients and myself.

I photographed Sophia’s session indoors at the Boardman studio as well as around the studio property.  I enjoy when clients bring something that is “them” and was so happy when I found out that she was bringing her soccer jersey. We did a few photos in the studio with her jersey before moving on to the fun and girly outfits both inside and outside.

We had a lovely evening for her session, a bit brisk when we finally made it outside, but definitely nice after the heat and humidity leading up to that day. We had a little bit of wind to deal with, but light wind equals great hair  blowing shots!! We took a quick walk to one of the buildings a few doors down that is currently vacant. Low and behold, there was some large overgrown grass behind the building. I told Sophia, no one will ever know we didn’t go to the park for some of these shots because the spot was like a mini jungle.
