Meet Drew, a Class of 2018 Senior at Canfield High School. Drew’s mom, Jodi, contacted me back in July about photographing his Senior portraits. She was looking for Fall colors and scheduled their session back in July! She wanted what we hoped to be prime Autumn foliage. There was still a lot of green for Drew’s photos, but there were also areas with pops of color.
Drew was so much fun to photograph! Normally guys aren’t into their Senior photos. They’re just doing it for their parents and a yearbook photo. Drew was all about it! We had such a great time during his session. He had me cracking up the entire time.
Jodi and Drew were both interested in photos that incorporated a bridge. We started at the Cinderella Bridge in Mill Creek Park. I’m not sure how it happened, but there was only one other photographer there at the that time. Every time I drive by the bridge, there’s a ton of photographers and clients there. But we were lucky that it was quiet that afternoon.
We then headed over to the area around Lanterman’s Mill. I love all the gems we have in Youngstown and especially in the park. So many great little spots in one area!
Drew did an amazing job in front of the camera. He has A personality that shines through in every single photo I took. Jodi was in the studio last week to pick out her images and I cannot wait for the prints and wall art to arrive. She selected a grouping with a 16×20 and two 11×14’s for her wall. We spent a fair amount of time in the ordering appointment picking the perfect set of three images to use for her display.
I had a blast working with Drew and Jodi for his pictures. I’m thrilled that they selected Danielle Neil Photography. Here are just a few of my favorites from this Canfield High School Senior’s session.
