Collin is a Canfield High School Class of 2016 Senior. Collin’s mom, Michele, contacted me in early August to be sure to get on the calendar for the Fall colors for his senior pictures. We were lucky to have one of the last few days of Autumn colors for his photos. The colors had popped this year but there was only about a two week window from the time the colors arrived and then the rain and wind brought all of the leaves to the ground. Typically Northeast Ohio sees the perfect Fall colors around mid-October. Lucky for us, Mother Nature was right on schedule this year.

We had originally planned on doing his session at Pioneer Pavilion at Mill Creek Park. When I pulled up to the pavilion that afternoon I knew there would be a quick change of plans. There was a lovely outdoor wedding that they were setting up. I called Collin’s mom to let her know there was a slight snag in the plans. We decided on the Ford Nature Center which is about one minute from the pavilion. It worked out great and there weren’t many people at the nature center that afternoon. Once we wrapped up there, we headed to the Silver Bridge in the park. Wow, were there a lot of photographers and clients at the bridge! It’s such a historic piece of the park that everyone wants their photos taken there. We even ended up running into Collin’s girlfriend who was also there having her senior photos taken!
