I first met Miranda, a class of 2015 Senior from East Palestine, back in June for her portrait consult appointment. We talked about locations, clothing and a Fall portrait session during her consultation. She and her mom, Ann Marie, opted for a late September senior photos in hopes that the trees would be changing colors.
We went to a few different locations for Miranda’s session including Downtown Youngstown, Fellows Riverside Gardens and Lanterman’s Mill. We had a caravan for her Senior portraits including her boyfriend Ricky and her mom. Ricky is one of my Class of 2015 Senior Models, and the poor guy didn’t know what he was in for tagging along – I had him holding reflectors and helping with my camera gear.
Miranda had a lot of clothing options in the back of her car and we mixed and matched the best pieces based on each location and look that she was going for. I love that she had a bright red shirt and black leather jacket for the Downtown part of the session. She also had a pretty black dress to wear with the classic backdrop of the park.
You would never know that Miranda was completely and totally nervous when we started her Senior photo session. Her images right off the bat were stunning. And as she became more relaxed with the process, they really started showing her fun and loving personality.
I had a really hard time picking my favorites to post on the blog. Here is a small sampling of her amazing Senior photo session.
