I love Spring and not just because Summer is right around the corner. Spring is also the time when I get to start working with my senior models for the upcoming school year. Being a senior photographer means getting the ball rolling on the next few months of portrait sessions for the Class of 2018.
Meet Sydney, the first of my Class of 2018 senior models. A few weeks ago, Sydney stopped by the studio for her photo shoot. I like having the chance to photograph the models in the studio and then sit down with them and come up with a game plan for their full photo shoot for the Summer.
Sydney goes to East Palestine High School. She is actually taking Freshman classes at Youngstown State University on top of being in high school! Pretty impressive! She plans on pursuing a career in the medical field as either a surgical nurse or doctor. Needless to say, her schedule is jam packed with studying and school work.
This isn’t the first time I’ve photographed Sydney. She’s my cousin, so I’ve had the chance to photograph her in the past. Of course her studio session was laid back and she was totally at ease in front of the camera. And can I just say that I’m beyond jealous of her makeup skills. She always looks on point with her flawless skin and her perfect makeup.
I cannot wait for Sydney’s full session this Summer and the other fun photo sessions I have planned for my Class of 2018 senior models! For now, here are some of my favorites from her quick session at the Boardman studio.
If you are a Class of 2018 Senior it’s time to start thinking about your senior photos! I typically book sessions 2-3 months in advance. For more information on senior pictures, locations and products, contact me using the online contact form today!
