The weather in Ohio is finally starting to level out. That means more outside sessions with trees in bloom and green grass. I love photographing pets and their people outdoors and finally the time has arrived with more consistent weather.
We squeezed this photography session in at the last minute on Mother’s Day morning. Traci and Mike were planning on coming to Boardman for the weekend and they were hoping for some portraits with their adorable dogs. The reason for the portraits is that they have a growing family and were looking for some images to hang in the nursery before the newest addition arrives later this Summer.
I met them at Traci’s parent’s house, right down the street from me in Boardman. The family has a great backyard that was perfect for the photographs. While it was a bit chilly that day, we were all glad that the sun was out to warm us up a little. The dogs were a hoot. Sampson and Gus could not be more opposite. Gus is a big, lovable puppy who is not even one year old, yet. Sampson, being the older, wiser brother, was just hanging out, taking everything in. I was thrilled to capture photographs of the dogs together, individually and with their people.
Congratulations to Traci and Mike on their next family member! I am excited to see how they decide to use their portraits to decorate the nursery using images that include their furbabies.
