While going through my 2015 Senior Model applications, Emily’s hair caught my eye. I love curly hair, and I have always wanted curly hair (if you see any middle school photos of me, you’ll laugh at my bad perms). But, my hair is a thick, wiry, wavy mess. And to see Emily’s naturally curly locks, had me envious from the start!
We recently had Emily’s High School Senior Model session at the studio. Just a quick, 30 minute session. I am loving these mini sessions for my Models, it gives me a chance to get to know them better and they also get to know me and how I work. We also talked about her full session that will be coming up in a few weeks and discussed the various locations around Youngstown to choose from.
Emily will be a 2015 High School Senior at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. But her “home” school is Springfield Local. She is involved in Youth Leadership Mahoning Valley, is a Student Ambassador at MCCTC, participates in peer tutoring and is a member of Health Occupation Students of America. When Emily graduates, she plans on going to college to be a clinical lab technician.
We had a great time at her studio photo session. I am sure I complimented her hair a million times (there’s that hair envy again!). She did a fantastic job modeling for me and I cannot wait for her to see her images. I am so glad that she applied to be a 2015 Senior Model and is having me capture her portraits for this important time in her life. Take a peek at a few photographs from her studio session.
