Mason’s mom, Lisa, contacted me last month to book his senior portrait session. We talked about some various locations in the area and decided that the spots around the Poland Library would be perfect for this Poland Seminary High School senior’s portraits. Even better is that there is a Kravitz Deli located inside, so Lisa was able to hang out there during the photos.
I love the area around the Poland Library, because there are so many looks in a small area. We started on the library grounds and made our way down and across Main Street to find some fun and unique backdrops for his session. In this small little area we had some traditional park backdrops as well as cool, urban backgrounds to choose from. It was a great combination to go along with the different outfits Mason brought along.
I try to keep senior guy sessions very loose and informal. Most guys do not get into senior photos like girls do. I know they are just there for their yearbook photo and to please their mom! We had a good time chatting about life, school and summer while we were going from location to location. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know Mason.
While the weather started out perfect for photos with overcast skies and a cool breeze, it did not stay that way. About half way through the photos, the humidity picked up and the sun came out. By the end of the session Mason and I were both feeling the sun beating down on us and I was glad we chose a late morning appointment rather than a midday. Thanks to Mason for being so easy to work with and for choosing Danielle Neil Photography for your senior portraits.
