Emily is back! My Class of 2015 Senior Models had the option of doing two sessions this year. One in the Boardman studio and the other session at an outdoor location of their choice in the Youngstown area. Emily selected Mill Creek Park for her second session. She is a Class of 2015 Senior at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

The downfall to on-location Senior pictures in Ohio is trying to figure out the weather! I spend so much time checking the radar maps and following the weather apps! And with the recent rain, I have had to reschedule more sessions than expected lately. At first, it looked like we would be in the clear for Emily’s outdoor senior photos. As the day went on, the chance of rain kept changing. I asked Emily if she wanted to postpone her photos or hopefully dodge the rain. She opted for taking our chance with Mother Nature.

We started Emily’s photos at Fellows Riverside Gardens a little earlier than scheduled. Thank goodness, because during that extra 30-minutes, we did not have any rain! But then, the sprinkles started. I strategically placed
her under any awnings or patches of trees where she wouldn’t get wet. It was probably the only time I have ever been to the Gardens and there was hardly anyone else there!! I am glad she decided to go ahead with the session. The light was great with the cloud cover that day.
