Over the weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to meet some new photographers and learn a lot! I attended the Unleashed | fine art pet photography workshop in Chicago. I had three of the best pet photographers teaching me the tips and tricks of photographing man’s best friend. Teresa Berg, Barbara Breitsameter and Bev Hollis shared their wealth of information, a variety of techniques and three completely different styles of photographing and working with pets. And well, the dog models they had come out were just irresistible! I love the opportunity to build on my photography knowledge and I especially enjoyed becoming fast friends with the other attendees while learning what unique services and products photographers across the country are offering.
Below are just some dog photographs from the weekend. I’m currently working on the finishing touches of my pet portrait program and will be offering this to clients in the next few weeks. Stay tuned – I’ll be posting images on the blog from the cute and furry four-legged models I’ve recruited to build my pet portfolio.
Thanks again to Teresa, Barbara and Bev for sharing their knowledge. And for any photographers who stop by the blog, if you’re considering offering pet portraits to your clients, the ladies will be having two more workshops in 2010 in Dallas and Virginia!
Those are awesome, Danielle.
I love these! I am so happy you got to go to Unleashed. That first shot is TDF! 🙂
