I was going to wait till tomorrow to announce the results of the the contest, but since I’m home and sitting at the computer, I figured I’d do it tonight. The top dogs have been selected by votes from the public and we have a winner for the 2011 Cutest Dog in Columbus Contest! I was shocked at how many people voted — 1,590 votes were cast for all the adorable dogs this year! With 458 votes, Desh the Cockapoo took the grand prize of a session and a 16×20 canvas! The race was definitely on against Desh with first, second and third place jumping between him and the two Baileys that were entered. Second place went to Bailey the Beagle mix puppy with 417 votes. And third place went to Bailey the Shih Tzu with 409 votes. Congratulations to the winners!
