Meet Ally, a class of 2016 senior who attends Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio. I had the opportunity to photograph Ally’s older sister, Sheila, two years ago for her senior portraits. I was excited to get the email from their mom that they were ready to schedule Ally’s photos and wanted to work with me again. Within 10 minutes of meeting Ally, I realized she had a completely different personality than her sister. I knew we were going to have a completely look to her senior photos from start to finish. And Ally had a ton of ideas on what she wanted to make her portraits exactly like her!
Ally grew up in Poland and wanted her senior photos to reflect her usual hangouts. Ally selected Poland Middle School to start her session. In particular, there is one swing that she has always played on, even to this day that she wanted in her photos. Of course, she nailed those shots and we were off and running with a great session. We then headed to the entrance of the school to get some photos around the building.
Ally’s other big request was to go to Poland Woods. And boy, does this girl know the area like the back of her hand! She took me though areas I didn’t even know existed at the park. And she was even giving directions to a couple we ran into that were looking for a particular trail in the park! The light was beautiful and she had a fantastic dress to wear for her photos. The only downfall to the adventure, neither of us applied enough bug spray! By the end of her session we were both covered in mosquito bites. Needless to say, from now on a can of bug spray will always be in my camera bag!
Here are some favorites of this beauty. Thanks Ally for choosing Danielle Neil Photography for your senior photos!
