We’re still getting in some last minute Class of 2016 grads for senior photos. Xavier is one of those seniors from West Middlesex High School in Pennsylvania. His mom contacted me in December about setting up his session before my maternity leave. With the holidays quickly approaching, she decided to wait until I returned to work. Xavier’s session was the first one on the books when I returned to work.
At first they had planned on a studio session because the Spring weather in Ohio is always so hit or miss. Then his mom, Christine, decided she really wanted outdoor photos of him. Of course, the day of his scheduled photo session, there was rain in the forecast, and a lot of it! We beat the rain and had a fantastic shoot at Pioneer Pavilion in Mill Creek Park. We started feeling the rain drops as I snapped the last image of the session.
Xavier was a natural in front of the camera and we had a great time during his senior portraits. I kept the session casual and quick,
because I know the last thing a high school senior guy wants to do on a Saturday afternoon is hours and hours of senior photos! He was a champ and I’m pretty sure he had a good time during the session.
Here are a few of my favorite images from his senior portrait session. I’m so happy that the park was in bloom with a huge selection of
locations in one small area. It was great that Mother Nature decided to cooperate and we were able to have his session outside.
